Associate Director - Content Marketing & SEO

About the Role
As an Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in client success and team leadership. You'll drive performance, ensure exceptional client experiences, and empower your team to achieve measurable outcomes. This is a leadership role with direct impact on client retention, team development, and overall organizational success.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Goal Setting
Set performance goals for client portfolios, aligning with North Star Metrics (NSMs).
Utilize tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo), and SEMRush for data-driven goal planning and reporting.
Regularly track and report ROI, focusing on metrics that matter to clients.
Operational Excellence
Ensure adherence to best practices across your team, including:
Financial modeling for performance forecasting.
Revenue-driven strategies prioritizing customer generation over leads.
Holistic SEO approaches, including Share of SERP analysis.
Engaging content creation that delivers real impact.
Foster innovation by integrating new methodologies, such as generative AI and programmatic SEO.
Barrier Resolution
Work collaboratively with Strategists to remove roadblocks and secure client approvals.
Establish action plans to overcome obstacles and keep strategies on track.
Leadership & Accountability
Inspire and guide your team through clear communication, proactive support, and structured processes.
Lead by example, fostering an environment of empowerment and collaboration.
Client Engagement
Present insights and strategies confidently to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering impactful results and actionable recommendations.
Your Qualifications
Proven success in content marketing and SEO, including strategic planning, keyword research, and performance forecasting.
Deep knowledge of tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and crawling tools.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience engaging key stakeholders and executives.
Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, measurable organic marketing strategies.
Experience working with B2B tech or SaaS clients, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Passion for digital marketing, SEO, and exploring new industry trends.
Agency experience is required.
