Position Information: UC Riverside's Campus Business Services is recruiting for a part-time Operations Coordinator. The full salary range for the Operations Coordinator is $31.72 - $50.70 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $41.62 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
This part-time position will be scheduled for three (3), eight (8) hour days per week. The schedule is to be determined. Note that this is an in-person, on-campus position; remote work is not available.
Under the leadership of the Campus Business Services Director, the Campus Business Services (CBS) Operations Coordinator uses skills as a seasoned, experienced administrative operations professional to play a crucial role in supporting the daily administrative functions of CBS. This position provides comprehensive administrative and customer support across various departments, including Highlander Service Station, Mail Services, UCR Book Store, Receiving Services, Digital Print Services, Scot Surplus, and Auxiliary Design Services. The coordinator is responsible for managing escalated customer service issues, driving customer retention efforts, optimizing operational processes, and developing pricing strategies to align with departmental budgetary goals. Key responsibilities include resolving financial discrepancies, addressing vendor concerns, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing, tracking, and reconciliation processes. By consolidating responsibilities, the CBS Operations Coordinator enhances efficiency and accountability, leveraging professional expertise to deliver a responsive, engaging, and adaptable customer experience that meets the diverse needs of the campus community. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and resolving operational challenges, developing and maintaining budgets, and producing regular reports and statistical data monthly or as required.

Requirements: Educational Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

- Gathers and analyzes financial and other resource data; prepares reports or analyses of operational activities, evaluates current and proposed services, etc. Coordinates projects including RFPs, Transact, Copier Program, Castlepress order verification/processing, R'Card and other CBS projects. Assists with the the daily operations of the UCR Card Office; issuing cards as appropriate; card account transaction management reconciliation with user depts; troubleshoots on all hardware and systems related to card operations Provides ongoing follow-up to questions and ensures compliance with public posting processes and awards.

- Participates in the development and revision of standard operating procedures and guidelines. Coordinate customer satisfaction annual surveys & outreach. Establishes KPI's, metrics, monitors achievement and contributes to program goals related to customer satisfaction, engagement, and outreach. Gathers, analyzes and summarizes data/metrics to improve service, solicits ideas for improvements and additional service offerings and communication suggestions. Identifies patterns of feedback and develop ways to close gaps and enhance service provision. Assist with creating materials or programs for customers to understand service offerings and work flow processes.

Ensure that the customer experience is responsive, engaging, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of the campus community. Institutes methods to streamline, improve, and provide stability to the financial status of CBS; includes segregation of duties for checks and balances, implementing operational efficiencies, and rate development to meet department budgetary commitments
