About DYMON
DYMON is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering minority youth girls by providing transformative
programs, mentorship, and resources. We equip young women with the leadership, resilience,
and skills needed to excel academically, personally, and professionally.

Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the strategic and executive leader of DYMON,
responsible for driving the organization’s mission forward while ensuring its long-term
sustainability and growth. The CEO will work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors,
staff, funders, corporate partners, and key community stakeholders to expand DYMON’s reach
and impact. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nonprofit leader, dynamic
fundraiser, and strategic thinker with strong marketing and business development
acumen.
This role requires a visionary and results-driven leader who can build relationships, develop
revenue streams, create and implement systems for organizational maturity, and scale
DYMON’s programs for national replication.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth
● Lead DYMON into its next phase of expansion by developing and executing a strategic
vision that enhances its impact and sustainability.
● Build and strengthen systems, policies, and operational structures that support long-term
organizational growth and maturity.
● Serve as the face of DYMON, advocating for its mission and strengthening relationships
across the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors.

Fundraising & Business Development

● Secure and grow DYMON’s funding through diverse revenue streams, including grants,
major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and earned revenue opportunities.
● Cultivate and steward relationships with funders, community partners, and government
officials to sustain and expand financial resources.
● Drive corporate engagement and sponsorship initiatives, ensuring meaningful
partnerships that support DYMON’s programs and strategic goals.
● Oversee grant writing, grant compliance, and donor engagement strategies to maintain
and grow financial support.

Marketing & Program Replication
● Package and position DYMON’s programs for national scalability and replication,
ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
● Develop and oversee marketing strategies that elevate DYMON’s visibility and establish
it as a leader in youth empowerment and education.
● Identify opportunities for program expansion and partnerships that align with DYMON’s
mission and strategic goals.
Financial Oversight & Organizational Management
● Oversee DYMON’s financial health, ensuring strong fiscal management, budget
oversight, and alignment with strategic priorities.
● Use data-driven decision-making to analyze financial trends and inform organizational
strategy.
● Ensure the effective allocation and stewardship of resources to maximize impact and
sustainability.

Operational & Team Leadership
● Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team that is aligned with DYMON’s mission
and values.
● Create and implement policies and systems that foster an efficient, mission-driven, and
collaborative work environment.
● Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the organization.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement
● Strengthen DYMON’s presence and influence within the local community by actively
engaging with key stakeholders, government leaders, and partner organizations.
● Ensure DYMON remains responsive to the needs of the community while maintaining a
national perspective on youth empowerment.
● Advocate for policies and initiatives that support DYMON’s mission and enhance
opportunities for young women.

Qualifications

Education: BA degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
○ Proven fundraising experience with a track record of securing and managing
major grants, corporate sponsorships, and donor contributions.
○ Experience developing and leading marketing strategies to enhance visibility and
engagement.
○ Strong financial management skills, including budget oversight and resource
allocation.
○ Experience in nonprofit leadership, business development, or a related field with
demonstrated success in organizational growth and sustainability.

Skills & Competencies:
○ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and create new revenue
opportunities.
○ Strong relationship-building skills to engage funders, stakeholders, and
community leaders.
○ Knowledge of nonprofit governance, board relations, and public policy.
○ Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to drive impact and
efficiency.
○ Deep understanding of community needs and a commitment to equity and
inclusion.
○ High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead with empathy, accountability,
and vision.
