Job Description



The Coordinator will oversee contract execution, distribution and filing as well as coordinate timely payments arising from various music talent agreements and provide administrative assistance to the attorneys in the Music Business & Legal Affairs team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract execution, distribution, storage and tracking for film music agreements and correspondence
  • Maintain all systems relating to contract execution and storage and seek to improve efficiencies between systems and in existing processes
  • Maintain all files in an organized, consistent manner
  • Process payment requests and interact with accounting departments and outside vendors to ensure payments are accurate and on time and maintain organized reports on all payments
  • Draft correspondence and agreements related to film music including master synchronization licenses
  • Create and maintain detailed status reports and documents and draft various correspondence
  • Interact positively with others and maintain relationships both internally and externally
  • Provide administrative support to the attorneys in the department as needed (e.g., scheduling meetings, preparation of meeting materials, filing, circulating correspondence and documents)
  • Perform other related duties in support of the Music Business & Legal Affairs department as requested by management

Qualifications



Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of combined administrative and contract administration experience
  • Prior experience at a music or film company or an entertainment law firm
  • Prior experience interpreting contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
