Job Title: IV Technician

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as an IV technician. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IV Nutrient therapy and functional medicine, with excellent IV skills and patient care. Someone with strong communication skills and who is detailed oriented is preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Place PIV’s and take vitals on patients
  • Run and interpret UA samples and look for contraindications
  • Assess clients physical health, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental
    status, etc. and identify contraindications to intravenous therapy.
  • Ensure efficient clinic workflow and optimal patient care
  • Detail oriented eye for keeping the clinic well organized and peak presentation
  • Placement of intravenous catheters and accessing ports. As well as assessing both PIV's and Ports during clients visit
  • Administration of fluids, and Monitoring the patient.
  • Compounding various nutrients into IV bags for administration, spiking and prepping lines
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Supervise, train, and mentor clinic staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
  • Coordinate schedules and delegate tasks to appropriate personnel
  • Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Keeping the clinic clean and professional with an eye for details
Qualifications:
  • EMT, RN, or Paramedic
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of active clinical work, where IV's are administered regularly
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive engagement with clients and team members
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to client care
