Title: Salesforce Business Analyst

Location : Remote (PST)

Overview:

We're looking for a Business Analyst with Salesforce Service Cloud expertise , focusing on investigating, documenting, and optimizing our Salesforce environment. This role emphasizes analysis, documentation, and system understanding rather than development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Documentation & Analysis:

• Investigate existing Salesforce configurations and processes.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including flowcharts and visualizations (e.g., Lucidchart), to map how the environment works.
• Interpret undocumented systems and processes.

2. System Understanding & Optimization:

• Analyse flows, process builders, and email alerts to understand and refine system operations.
• Assist with testing and validation, including writing and running test cases (UAT).

3. Data Querying & Scripting:

• Use SOQL to query Salesforce data for analysis and insights.
• Understand scripting concepts (Python/JavaScript) to interpret workflows but not required to develop.

4. Collaboration & Presentation:

• Work closely with the team to gather and document requirements.
• Present findings, charts, and high-level system overviews to stakeholders using tools like PowerPoint.

Requirements

1. Salesforce Expertise:

• Admin-level experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (must).
• Familiarity with flows, process builders, and email alerts.
• Ability to make minor system changes (admin-level tasks).

2. Technical Skills:

• Experience with RDBMS and querying Salesforce using SOQL.
• Familiarity with documentation and visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python/JavaScript) is a plus but not mandatory.

3. Business Analyst Skills:

• Strong documentation, charting, and presentation abilities.
• Capable of investigating and interpreting undocumented systems and processes.
• Experience in gathering requirements and supporting systems changes.

4. Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with PM or analytics tools.
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Located in PST or EST time zones (preferred).

Additional Information

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role within a team of three, focusing on a specific Salesforce instance.

Main Focus: Analyst work, documentation, and systems optimization (not webinars or event management).

Interview process: Two rounds with the client.
