Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Location : Marble Falls, TX

Shift : Variable shifts, 4 Shifts Per Week (40 Hours)

Shift Times : 10-hour shifts

Hourly Rate : $41.00 per hour

Job Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our PRN team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures, including mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and ultrasound-guided biopsies. This role requires adherence to safety standards and communication with patients to ensure comfort during procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures according to established exam protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by positioning and adjusting equipment controls
• Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and are comfortable
• Follow safety standards, including infection control, radiation policies, and proper use of sterile techniques
• Maintain equipment and ensure it meets operational and cleanliness standards
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical imaging documentation
• Assist with inventory management and ensure the department has adequate supplies
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to new team members, offering guidance and training

Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography
• ARRT-R Radiography certification
• ARRT-M Mammography certification
• Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the state of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
