Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: NYC, NY 11207

Duration: 3 Months

Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 days per week)

We are seeking a qualified Mammography Technologist with experience in performing mammographic imaging. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality mammography images and adhering to safety protocols.

• Conduct mammography imaging procedures using relevant equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by following best practices in positioning and radiation protection.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform quality assurance on images and equipment to ensure optimal function and safety.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Mammography Technologist with hands-on experience using relevant mammography equipment.
• Education and Certifications:
  • Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Post-primary certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS certification preferred.
• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
