Job Description

Summary:

The Manager, Corporate Communications plays a critical role in driving both internal and external communications while enhancing collaboration through digital workplace tools. This position is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support corporate priorities, continuous improvement, and the Lean Business System. Additionally, the role champions the effective use of Microsoft 365 tools to improve engagement, streamline processes, and enable cross-functional collaboration. Reporting to the Director, Global Corporate Communications, the ideal candidate will be a strong digital storyteller with expertise in corporate communications, social media strategy, and employee engagement. They will also act as an advisor and trainer, equipping teams with best practices and tools to enhance productivity, transparency, and project management across the organization.


Responsibilities:

Internal & External Communications (50%)

  • Support the Development of internal communication plans aligned with corporate priorities, continuous improvement, Lean Business System & other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop content strategy for the Intranet/SharePoint, ensuring it continues to be a go-to hub for internal updates, resources, and project information.
  • Partner with Marketing/Branding teams to ensure external brand messaging aligns with internal narratives.
  • Support the creation of press releases, executive messaging, and external communications, as needed.
  • Develop and execute a global social media strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling multi-channel content (emails, newsletters, presentations, videos) to engage key audiences, including employees, customers, investors, and industry partners.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Digital Workplace Enablement & Collaboration (50%)

  • Serve as the internal champion and advisor for smart, effective use of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate).
  • Develop and deliver training programs, how-to guides, and best practices to help teams work more efficiently using Microsoft collaboration tools.
  • Maintain a centralized SharePoint hub for the Transformation Office, housing tools, templates, and progress tracking for Lean initiatives.
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline internal processes, reducing manual work and improving efficiency.
  • Support the rollout of standardized project reporting and dashboards to enhance transparency and decision-making by leaders.
  • Act as a bridge between IT, Communications, and the Transformation Office, ensuring tools and messaging work together seamlessly.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal/external corporate communications, and information technology or related fields preferably in a global and/or publicly traded company.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging content for both external and internal audiences.
  • Proven experience deploying and optimizing Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate) to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Experience with SEO, paid social media advertising, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (aviation, aerospace, or similar sectors) is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
