Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) (US Citizens Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems (Oracle 11g/12c/19c and beyond).
• Perform regular database backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement database security measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in database upgrades and patching to ensure up-to-date security and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data corruption.
• Perform database tuning and query optimization to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to support database-related application development and deployment.
• Manage database storage and ensure proper archiving and retention policies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience as an Oracle DBA (working with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and backup/recovery techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and GoldenGate is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-performance environments.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in database security best practices and encryption.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and related database management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Oracle certification (OCP) is preferred but not required.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
