KELS LLC is looking for a visiting nurse to join our Residential Services for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
We will work around your schedule and accommodate your days and time. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
• Assess the individuals’ health needs through observation of behavioral changes and
physical signs and symptoms.
• Act as the liaison for KELS in working with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical
professionals.
• Provide on-going training to staff on topical medications, medical terminology, and
other health related information.
• Review medication administration records as delegated.
• Travel to program sites, homes, offices, and/or hospitals as needed.
• Oversee implementation and follow through of medical care plans for individuals.
• Participate in scheduled interdisciplinary evaluations of individuals.
• Supervise, schedules, and evaluates Nurses.
• Administer medications, provide treatments, and other health services as prescribed
by the physician and in accordance with state regulations.
• Participate in the company’s on-call system.
•Complete Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) Assessments for 25
individuals.
