📍 Your Role:
As a Pediatric Provider in our dynamic clinic, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-focused care to children of all ages. This role is tailor-made for someone who values flexibility, embraces challenges, and finds joy in working with kids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Conduct routine check-ups, wellness visits, immunizations, and acute care evaluations.
• Manage common pediatric illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and families about health, wellness, and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and applicable laws.
• Provide coverage for clinic hours as needed, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a focus on Pediatrics; or Pediatrician (MD/DO).

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Active and unrestricted NC medical license.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric care (preferred).
  • Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings is a plus. Experience with complex pediatric patients is also a huge plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and passion for working with children and families.

Working Conditions:

• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
• Ability to adapt to varying patient volumes and schedules.
• May involve standing, walking, and handling pediatric patients during examinations and treatments.
