Akian Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a family-owned, customer service oriented (mostly residential) plumbing, heating, cooling and drain cleaning firm located in Watertown, MA. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbing Helper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and a strong interest in learning the plumbing trade. As a Plumbing Helper, you will support our licensed plumbers on residential and commercial projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Assist plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Load and unload plumbing materials, tools, and equipment from job sites.
• Transport plumbing supplies and tools to and from job sites.
• Follow directions from experienced plumbers and supervisors to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist with job site cleanup.
• Safely operate company vehicles and ensure proper maintenance.
• Assist with customer service as needed, ensuring a positive experience on site.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the plumbing trade.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
