About the Role:

As a Production Supervisor , you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:

• Operations Management: Direct and supervise the manufacturing operations at the plant from receipt of materials through shipping, utilizing the facilities, equipment, and personnel to achieve optimum level of production of products while maintaining the highest level of safety and quality at the lowest possible cost.
• Production Planning: Establish production schedules in line with customer demands; creating daily work schedules for hourly personnel to optimize production efficiency. Assist in hiring and training of new employees.
• Safety and Prevention: Learn and implement all facets of Environmental Health and Safety program and conduct trainings for employees as necessary. Create preventative maintenance program for the facility.
• Shipping and Logistics: Plan daily loading schedules and prepare loading combinations for shipping finished products, while maximizing cost savings and route optimization.
• Inventory Management: Work with vendors for procurement of manufacturing supplies, securing the best possible pricing while adhering to specifications. Conduct full physical inventory activities, including investigating variances and optimizing financial impact.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role and ability to demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience with manufacturing production and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact across multiple levels of the organization and across functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A team player with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
