Job Description

Verde Canyon Railroad in Clarkdale, AZ is looking for santas to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 300 N Broadway. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Santas must always be smiling and make eye contact with whomever they come in contact with.
• Santa will ride on the train and interact with every interested child. Santa is also staged at the "North Pole' and will be dancing and in character there as well.
• No cell phone use or eating/drinking (except water) while in character.
• The goal is to make the Magical Christmas Journey a first class holiday experience for every passenger.

Qualifications

• Must remain cheerful and in character at all times.
• Santa will be in extreme temperatures at times.
• Mandatory meetings prior to the event will be required.
• Must be able to get on/ off the train.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Season will run from the end of November through the end of the year.
• Requires open availability on all Magical Christmas Journey scheduled train days as well as rehearsals.
