Are you a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated educator to provide virtual support to students in Kansas. This part-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May or June
Schedule: 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in a virtual learning environment.
Collaborate with and guide long-term substitute teachers in progress monitoring, curriculum modifications, and scaffolding strategies.
Participate in IEP team efforts, offering insights and expertise (no IEP writing required).
Ensure that accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented in general education classrooms to support student success.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid Kansas Special Education teaching license.
Have prior experience in special education, with a strong understanding of individualized instruction.
Demonstrate proficiency in progress monitoring, curriculum modification, and accommodations within general education settings.
Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, educators, and support staff in a virtual setting.
