This position can be based in one of the following offices with a hybrid work schedule (4 days in the office, 1 remote day). Fully remote candidates within the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Arkansas, and New Mexico are also welcome to apply.

About the Role:
As a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter, you will play a key role in managing and growing your assigned book of business. Your responsibilities will include assessing risk, determining pricing and terms, and fostering strong relationships with agents and brokers. You will also be a valuable resource to less experienced underwriters, providing informal leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new and renewal business by evaluating applications and making informed risk decisions in line with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to build strong relationships while maintaining a healthy loss ratio.
- Contribute to product development and pricing strategies, and actively engage in customer development and relationship building within your assigned territory.
- Participate in continuing education and assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in insurance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of commercial lines underwriting experience (or a similar field).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in interpreting business and regulatory information and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
