Remote Social Media Intern
Part-Time | 15 Hours/Week | Fall/Winter Semester (September-January)

Who We Are
We are a fully remote agency celebrating over 16 years of connecting with family-focused brands across the U.S. Our 30-member team works collaboratively from home, fostering a vibrant and supportive community with virtual happy hours, team-building events, and even costume contests. While remote, team members are expected to be available during regular business hours, and occasional travel may be required for events or trade shows.
Our clients include products, brands, and services for families, such as baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, and food. If you're passionate about creating innovative content and engaging communities, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
This is not your typical internship! You'll be fully integrated into a collaborative team and gain hands-on experience in social media management and content creation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy and Content Management:
Learn and assist in social media strategy and content management across platforms.
Build editorial calendars to promote client brands.
Ensure a consistent and engaging brand message.
Content Creation:
Design and distribute creative content like GIFs, videos, and infographics.
Assist in creating and editing short-form videos, including Reels and TikToks.
Write compelling captions tailored to target audiences.
Support with photo and video shoots for clients.
Community Management:
Monitor and respond to comments and DMs, fostering community engagement.
Identify and track high-performing posts and emerging trends through social listening.
Search for user-generated content to spotlight on social channels.
Creative Brainstorming and Ideation:
Contribute ideas during team brainstorming sessions.
Research competitive brands and social trends to suggest new strategies.
Brainstorm original content concepts and innovative ways to boost engagement.
Link Management:
Compile and manage product links for posts.
Update "link in bio" sections to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who is:
A current sophomore, junior, or senior in college.
Experienced in social media marketing, with at least one prior internship.
A strong writer with excellent communication skills.
A highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about social media, keeping up with trends and best practices.
Available for at least 15 hours a week during business hours (8 AM-5 PM in your time zone).
Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
Requirements:
A 3.0 GPA or higher.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and a proactive approach to trends.
Resourceful, detail-oriented, and professional in demeanor.
Compensation and Credits
We'll provide a $250 monthly reimbursement for the use of your personal cell phone, computer, and internet. Please check with your college or university to confirm if you are eligible to receive college credit for this internship, though credits are not mandatory to accept the offer.
