As the Sr. Account Manager - Club Channel at Skylight, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our footprint in the key club channels, focusing on Costco and Sam’s Club. We are looking for a sales manager that has excellent business and leadership skills to deliver profitable customer plans and market share growth. In addition to channel and operational management responsibilities, this role will also collaborate with internal stakeholders from sales operations, finance, supply/customer service, product management and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the development and retention of all Club Accounts & Walmart.
  • Oversee the activities of the Club channels, including but not limited to, owning all buyer relationships, communications and negotiations, achieving established performance scorecards, building club channel specific bundles or skus, managing channel conflict issues with other account managers, preparing sales reports, implementing process improvements, leading customer meetings, etc. 
  • Management of the Club channel P&L including pricing, discounts, pallet production costs, marketing expenses and all related club channel account expenses in conjunction with supporting our Skylight profitability targets.
  • Effectively leverage internal resources (e.g. finance, marketing, technology, operations) to maximize opportunities with key strategic customers. 
  • Ensures demand planning forecast and purchase orders are accurate and submitted in a timely manner 
  • Explores and evaluates business development opportunities and facilitates expansion of existing and new business opportunities for the company. 
  • Manages multiple projects involving cross-functional teams with competing priorities, developing and monitoring project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones 
  • Provide information on market trends, the organization’s competitive position, customer programs, etc. in order to determine program and service strategies for the customers.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of major account sales management experience; Costco and/or Sam's Club experience required 
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Club channel management experience including full P&L ownership
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with an ability to translate plans into revenue-generating actions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of effectively liaising with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience leveraging data to retail analytic application, forecasting and inventory management capabilities, i.e. syndicated data (Circana, 3PL data systems, Google sheets, etc) and incorporating customer specific data into these tools.

For Colorado-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $120k-$140K based on experience and for California-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $120-$140K based on experience.
