Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow start up and shut down procedures on all equipment, monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and record same
- Coordinate stock delivery times with truck drivers
- Maintain stock records for traceability
- Stage steel for machine operators on a timely basis
- Cycle count inventory, maintain and make adjustments to same in established systems
- Utilize the available computer software programs as required
- Operate the overhead crane to move material and unload trucks
- Identify equipment irregularities and/or malfunctions and make correction or notify proper person
- Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices
- Keep work area, equipment and machines clean and orderly at all times
- Offer suggestions for improving, productivity, process, safety or work environment
Basic Qualifications: - 1 year of overhead crane experience
- Intermediate proficiency with SAP
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Top Candidates Will Also Have: - Previous inventory management experience
- Ability to complete basic math
- Team attitude
Additional Information: - Weekend Day Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Starting Pay: $20.67/hour + $1.00 shift premium

Summary Pay Range: $18.60 - $23.30
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
