Job Summary:

Responsible for assessing and evaluating academic transcripts, transfer credits, and other relevant documents for current students who transferred from an educational institution.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding established minimum performance metrics in rule building, ensuring a baseline level of proficiency in key performance indicators.
• Analyze course descriptions using TES (CollegeSource), college catalogs, academic transcripts, and other resources to determine transfer equivalencies.
• Responsible for staying current with Texas General Education Core and Texas Common Course Numbering System ( TCCNS ) requirements, transfer articulation agreements, and all Texas Higher Education Coordination policies and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transfer evaluations, ensuring data integrity and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Post credit for prior learning to student records in accordance with established guidelines.
• Serves as subject matter expert regarding transfer evaluation in the student information system and troubleshoots any issues that arise.
• Stay updated on evolving educational trends and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills related to transfer evaluation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• An associate degree with two (2) years of experience in a position requiring considerable record-keeping accuracy or a combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with various office software products such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience and knowledge of MyMav (PeopleSoft), TES (CollegeSource), and Microsoft Teams.
