Title: Windows Technical lead
Location: Grand Rapids MI
Windows Technical Lead (Onsite)
- Providing Architectural support on VMware Server security and networking layer of IT infrastructure. Developing maintaining and supporting networks in NSX/NSXT.
- Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies including ESXi vCenter Server SRM VSAN and NSX.
- Implementation Administration and troubleshooting include VMware ESXi Vcenter.
- Installation configuration and administration of VMware ESXi 7.X on physical servers vSwitch and dvSwitch Management Managing Site Recovery Manager.
- Experience in UCS ESXi & Dell Server troubleshooting upgrades and firmware management.
- Experience Any of cloud computing platforms AVS GCP AWS
- Must have indepth knowledge on Working of Microsoft server platformsRR2.
- Windows Servers & VMware Monitoring and troubleshooting server performance. Troubleshooting system and server errors. Must carry out effective Root cause Analysis skills.
- Must have very good experience on printers and Windows trouble shooting Know about the Printer mapping Printer Port/ Print Queue/
- Performance tuning of ESXi host. Implement Hardening on ESXi host. Experience in P2V VMotion and VMware virtual centre.
- Physical boxes such as HP DELL Lenovo (ILOs. Xclarity iDRAC) Hardware handson experience (boot problems blue screens raid controller Faulty disks RCAs on hardware failures).
- TCP/IP Routing Principles Firewall Rules DNS troubleshooting packet loss/latency issues.
- Citrix XenApp.
- Must have good knowledge on storage concepts remote Storage (SAN NAS).
- Patch Management Vulnerability Remediation and need to have knowledge on SCCM.
- Must establish a very good automations skills and ability to create scripts or execute commands remotely against one or more servers by PowerShell or any.
- Candidate must be a wellorganized processoriented and technically proficient in both systems administration and effective Team Management.
- Expertise in Capacity Management.
- Good documentations skills Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides topologies and diagram explain and plan for future upgrades.
- ServiceNow or similar service management system.
- Must have indepth knowledge of ITIL and IT service management principles Change incident and problem management.
- Knowledge in Dynatrace or any of APM tools Commvault IBM cloud good to have OpenShift.
- Knowledge on F5 or any other load balancer Infoblox or any other DNS tools.
- Must have experience on handling any major projects upgrades Migrations and driven the team.
Responsibilities
- Experience in people management and team management.
- To manage the daily support and operations of Windows operating systems web servers VMware.
- Manage the Team in Shift to ensure prompt resolution of issues on Windows Infrastructure.
- Serve as a liaison between Project infrastructure management and clients to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of new infrastructure implementation.
- Project management and reporting on team activities to ensure the timely communication and delivery of tasks projects and resolution to issues.
- Experience in assisting to full fill any of technical gaps.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate staff and communicate confidently with all levels of management.
- Should be able to guide the BAU Team and provide necessary trainings.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Good to Have
- IIS server management Certificate Management Skills Hands on experience on SSL configuration
- Install configure and maintain IIS web servers and related software Manage and deploy web applications and updates on IIS servers.
- Install and configure .NET Applications in Microsoft IIS analyze log files and diagnose web Server problems.
