Our client, an entrepreneurial CEO that has established multiple successful businesses including well-known brands in consumer goods, an on-line media company and a marketing arm is looking for a true “right hand” Senior Executive Assistant/ Chief of Staff. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who really understands all the moving parts of a very busy CEO /celebrity and the convergence of the personal and professional by taking a holistic perspective to manage her life. Her businesses also reflect her overall philosophy and vision of how she has reached such astounding success as a truly self-made businesswomen and speaker. Key characteristics for success in this role is a good sense of humor, a person who knows how to initiate ideas and act on them as well as a very positive, optimistic perspective on life. The CEO has a beautiful estate that has a home office and studio. Once a relationship is well established, there is flexibility to be working at her estate or remotely at your home depending on what is going on. She will be relying on you to make these judgements as the overall manager of her life.
About the Job:
¨ Support the CEO as a true “right hand” including managing her ever- changing calendar, personal and professional and prioritizing meetings and speaking engagements
¨ Attend most meetings with her, externally and with internal stakeholders in person locally and video, doing research to prepare her, taking notes and creating action items to follow-up with her and the senior executive teams in the various entities; be the conduit for her with the executives teams at times attending meeting without her.
¨ Prioritize emails and craft responses on her behalf
¨ Organize and manage domestic and international travel arrangements with detailed itineraries
¨ Interact with Executive teams in multiple businesses, making sure nothing falls through the cracks; excellent project management skills
¨ Plan company events, events, dinners, personal and professional
¨ Expense reporting
¨ Have an interest in streamlining businesses and suggesting efficiencies in process and procedures
¨ Ad hoc projects that involve both business and her personal life
¨ Off hour availability via cell within reason
¨ Salary plus Discretionary Bonus, Comprehensive Health Benefits, Medical, Dental, Vision
About You:
¨ A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff supporting an entrepreneurial- type executive, UHNW individual or celebrity; an interest or experience in media or in the music industry is a PLUS
¨ Bachelor’s Degree
¨ Very used to a very fast-paced workday, switching gears as needed and taking the initiative to creatively solve business and personal issues; Great business acumen and project management skills
¨ High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence
¨ Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, Knowledge of Asana and usage of Slack a PLUS
¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
¨ An entrepreneurial spirit with a warm engaging personality as well as a good sense of humor
