We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee operations at Syler Veterinary Clinic, a small animal general practice located in Athens, TX, committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in our community. As the Veterinary Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our teams, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and development to ensure a well-functioning, efficient team.
• Ensure excellent client service, including addressing concerns, coordinating appointments, and overseeing client communications.
• Work closely with veterinarians to ensure medical protocols are followed and maintained.
• Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgets, payroll, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure the clinics are well-stocked and organized.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive performance and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Client-focused with strong team development skills.
• Minimum 2 years experience in veterinary medicine (5 years preferred)
• 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Proficient in budget management, communication, and problem-solving.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and scheduling software; veterinary platform experience preferred.
• Strong planning, presentation, and objective assessment abilities.
• Able to multitask and manage stress in a dynamic environment
